About This Site

For home elevators and lifts across the United States, Home-Elevator-Cost.com posts installed prices by state, by brand and model, and by kind of lift. Caldwell Estimators Inc., 1500 Market Street, Suite 2800, Philadelphia, PA 19102, United States, runs the site.

How We Build the Prices

Every price range is built from published figures. These include independent cost guides, price pages kept by dealers and installers, and the manufacturers' own list prices and price guides. For any kind of lift, a range on this site starts at the lowest installed figure the sources give and ends at their highest, with figures rounded to the nearest $500. Brand rows tell you what a figure is: a list price, a range from the manufacturer, or a quote range from a dealer.

State pages rely on two things: the wage survey of the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics for installer pay, and, for permits, inspections and licences, the statutes, rules and agency pages of the state itself. Every figure links back to its source on the page where you see it.

How the Site Gets Paid

This site works as a lead generator. A home elevator installer or dealer serving your area receives your call or request when you use the phone number or the quote form on the site, and may pay us for the introduction. No dealer pays us to change any price, table or ranking that appears here.
